One of my favorite ways to travel is by going solo... but not always traveling alone.
Yesterday, I joined a small group day trip from Madrid, and it's exactly why I recommend group tours to anyone traveling independently.
Sure, I could have rented a car, figured out the train schedules, and planned every stop myself. But instead, I got to relax, enjoy the scenery, learn from a local guide, and spend the day with travelers from different parts of the world.

I asked a kind stranger (fellow tour mate) to snap this photo of me!
For me, that's one of the best travel hacks: use group tours to make solo travel richer.
You keep the freedom to build your own itinerary while letting someone else handle the logistics for a day. Plus, you never know who you'll meet along the way.
If you're visiting Spain, don't overlook the day trips leaving from Madrid. They're one of the easiest ways to see places beyond the city without the stress of planning every detail yourself.

In addition to visiting the lavender fields, we had a few free hours to browse the ancient city
Have you ever joined a group tour while traveling?
